Meet Toni, the Founder of Little Discoveries
My name is Toni, the heart, soul and founder of Little Discoveries.
I'm a wife, mother and a full time NASA engineer. Hereβs a small look into my story:
I have always been somewhat of a creative. Right out of high school I was a licensed cosmetologist. For about seven years I worked as a nail technician through college. Yes, it took me nine years total to get my 4 year degree...but that is a story for another day! LOL. At the time, this is how I tapped into that creative energy but I always yearned for something more.
When our baby turned 5 months old, I began to struggle with my mental health and decided to return to therapy. After about a year and a half of attending weekly sessions, I began to see color in my life - after living in darkness for, what seemed like, a long time. One day I sat down to make bracelets for fun. I started watching various jewelry making tutorials and realized, βI can do this! I want to do this!β So, I bought supplies and sat down to try it and I havenβt been able to stop since!
During one of my sessions, I expressed how I felt ready to explore, expand, put myself out there and speak about topics I was never able to speak about before. My amazing therapist then said, βIt will be a journey through discovery!β That really stuck with me and how πΏπΎππππ ππΎππΈπππππΎππ came to be! β¨πβ¨
The front desk at the therapy office has inspirational stickers and I would always take whichever ones spoke to me. I have them everywhere! My work planner, my phone, and even my journal. And so, I wanted to share this fun way of spreading positivity with all of you by providing inspirational stickers with every order!
Your support is helping me through this journey in more ways than one. Thank you! I look forward to sharing a small piece of my healing soul with each Little Discovery you recieve!
If you or someone you know is going through a difficult timeβ¦I highly encourage to seek help. It is the greatest thing I have ever done for myself and my family!! I believe with my whole heart that therapy is a form of self love and it is absolutely NOTHING to be ashamed of - I promise!
